The importance of communication skills for engineers

In education context, these skills help students understand complex engineering concepts by enabling them to articulate their thoughts clearly and engage effectively with their peers. Furthermore, in the professional world, teamwork and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds are required in projects. Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying ideas, discussing plans, and resolving conflicts in these collaborative settings. Therefore, integrating communication skills into the education of engineering students not only enhances their learning experience but also equips them with the necessary tools to thrive in their future careers, where effective communication is fundamental for success.

    Eg. “in education context, these skills help…. “ could be changed.
    unrelated to the content of the post, could you make the font size slightly bigger, it is too small and hard to read. Thank you.

Initial research pathway on the General Electric GE9X Aircraft Engine

1. Javid and Zhi Xiang were from an aviation related diploma course in their respective polytechnics. 2. They from then, have gained great interest in aviation.  3. Javid and Zhi Xiang bonded together to work on this project. 4. The team decided to research on the GE90 engine initially. 5. They decided to change their device to the GE9X engine, because the GE9X is the latest state of the art aircraft engine.  6. Zhu Xiang used ChatGPT with the following prompts: "What are the key features and functions of the GE9X engine?" and "Can you give me the numbers in comparison to the GE90?". 7. ChatGPT provided few facts and feature about the GE9X. 8. Javid searched on the General Electrics website to find out more about the engine.  9. Javid further researched on Boeing's website to find out more about the engine user.  10. The team typed down the features and functions of the engine that were found online on the Google Docs.
